Promotion of good governance

EU Sport Forum 2017

On 8 and 9 March 2017 the NOC of Croatia participated in the EU Sport Forum that was organised by DG Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of the European Commission in St. Julian’s, Malta.

The EU Sport Forum is the main platform for structured dialogue between the European institutions and sport stakeholders. Its main objectiv

e is to take stock of progress achieved in implementing the EU agenda for sport and to seek stakeholders’ views on current, planned or possible future activities.

The various sessions covered many topics of interest for European sport including good governance.

The NOC of Croatia was invited as one of the signatories of the European Commission’s Declaration on Good Governance. At the same time, the NOC of Croatia was given the opportunity to promote the objectives of the SUCCESS project in the field of good governance.
